This week, TracePro features the incredible rendering technique honed by architect Alec Yuzhbabenko. Using TracePro, Alec imagines thrilling architectural scenes full of life. Using the technique of shading in a wide rand of grayscale tones, the renderings achieve great depth and vitality. Alec has brought the magic of old school pencil and water color rendering to new life in digital form.

Sketching a building yields a much higher analysis of the Architecture rather than just scrolling through images. Slowly replicating each line allows you to either understand the decisions that were made or allows you to thoughtfully question them. Either way, you learn and take a position regarding the design.”
