Want to create section perspectives beautifully and quickly like sketch master David Drazil? Below, David shares three must-read steps to take your drawings to new levels.

Step 01.

Set your view using Drag’n’Fly

Kick-off by importing your 3D model into Morpholio Trace. Then use Drag’n’Fly to find the perfect view for your drawing. Hint: Be sure that your 3D model is saved as mesh surfaces in an OBJ or USDZ file!

Step 02.

Define your section cuts with SmartFill

To create the section cut on his drawing, David traces over the 3D model edge with a technical pen. Then, he adds a solid fill using SmartFill. This makes the section cut pop on the drawing!

Step 03.

Add scale with Stencils

David brilliantly adds entourage using the amazing Morpholio-curated people stencils inside the stencil library. Hint: Use a light gray so the people are visible but don’t overpower the drawing.
